This Work In Progress page is part of our "To Serve You Better" effort and improve our system reliabilty. We will use this page to keep you informed about work in subdivisions as well as our various overhead construction projects along Highways, County Roads and Streets. 2017 SYSTEM INVENTORY
YVEA will be doing a complete inventory on our overhead and underground system and associated equipment. Two inspection crews from Global Mapping Solutions (GMS) are contracted by YVEA to perform this work.
The Phase I crew will be in south Routt, north Eagle and west Grand County's in the areas of Phippsburg to the Colorado River drainage. PHASE I COMPLETE
Phase II crew will be in Moffat County west of Craig from Ridgeview subdivision working areas to the north and south of W. US 40 toward Lay. PHASE II COMPLETE
Phase III crew will be in the area from Oak Creek to 20 Mile Coal working North and South of RCR 27 (20 Mile) in the RCR 29 and Middle Creek drainages and South of Oak Creek to Yampa in the RCR 3B, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19,132 & 132A areas.
Phase IV - Starting 10/4/2017 crew will be in the areas to the west and north of Stagecoach Reservoir along RCR 14 from Highway 131 near Phippsburg to Yellow Jacket and Blacktail areas and continuing to Sydney Peak Randh, Pleasant Valley (RCR 18) and Lake Catamount communities. Estimated duration is 6 weeks.
Phase 5 - Starting 11/2 crew will be in the area of RCR 16 South of Stagecoach Reservoir to the end of the system on Lynx Pass and subdivisions in the area. This inventory should last 8 to 10 weeks.
Inspectors will access the YVEA system equipment via truck UTV, ATV and by foot, depending on access.
