8.13.25: Red Flag Warning Issued for Carbon, Eagle, and Routt Counties
Our infrastructure located in Carbon, Eagle, and Routt Counties are under a Red Flag Warning on Wednesday, August 13th, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, meaning we will move our system to Fire Protection Mode at 11:00 am. Please note that while our Moffat County system is not under the Red Flag Warning that due to our line feeding Baggs, there will be areas north of Craig that will also be in Fire Protection Mode as well.

A reminder to our members about FPM - when we are in FPM, members may use their electricity as normal. There will only be a change in service if there is an actual outage. When we are in Fire Protection Mode, our lines will deenergize when anything comes into contact line. In this more sensitive mode, members should anticipate longer and more frequent outages, due to our crews needing to inspect lines to ensure they are free of combustibles.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe out there.
