Here for How You Live led us to a new brand statement - Reliable, adaptable power solutions shaped by our members and delivered with the expertise and care of a local co-op—so energy works for every way of life.
Let’s take a moment and break down what this statement means to us at Yampa Valley Electric Association.
•‘Reliable’ reinforces the foundation of what we offer: power people can count on.
•‘Adaptable solutions’ is about flexibility. It means recognizing that members don’t all need or want the exact same things. It’s about offering options, programs, and approaches that respond to different needs, budgets, and realities–and adjusting as those needs change.
•‘Shaped by our members’ brings our co-op model to life. It reinforces that YVEA’s solutions are informed by the members–the people in the community–who use them.
•And ‘delivered with the expertise and care of a local co-op’ matters because it blends our competence with our humanity. Not only does YVEA excel at what it does, but we care about the impact of our decisions and actions.
•Finally, ‘so energy works for every way of life’ is the payoff.
It expresses that YVEA’s job is to make energy function as a system of support across very different lives, communities, and perspectives.
But all of this branding, all of this work means nothing if we overlook the most important part of being a part of this community and valley - trust.
