7.26.25: Red Flag Warning
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Saturday, July 26 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm. This warning has been issued for Eagle, Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt Counties, meaning we will be putting our systems into Fire Protection Mode. While Wyoming is not in the Red Flag Warning, because of the way our system is constructed, lines servicing Wyoming will also be in Fire Protection Mode.
During this time, members may use their power as normal and will not experience a difference in service unless there is an actual outage. If there is an outage while we are in Fire Protection Mode, members should anticipate longer than usual outages, as crews need to inspect our lines to ensure there are no fire hazards.
Members have been notified via email about FPM, and we will provide any updates here and on the website.
