The Red Flag Warning in Moffat County has now been extended to 8:00 pm today. On Tuesday, June 30th, Eagle, Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt Counties will be in a Red Flag Warning, meaning YVEA's entire system will be in Fire Protection Mode from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday. Because the line that serves Baggs runs through Moffat County, Baggs will also be in Fire Protection Mode. Members can use their electricity as normal during this time and will not notice a service interruption unless there is an actual outage. If their is an outage, members need to prepare for longer than normal outages due to use needing to inspect the line and ensure it is free of combustibles.
