RED FLAG WARNING: Carbon County The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Carbon County that begins today, Monday, October 5th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Because of the red flag conditions, YVEA will be putting our system into Fire Protection Mode.

For members on the Clark Substation, the outage will be from 10:00pm - 6:00 am. For members on the Airport Substation and west of Steamboat, it will take place from 9:30 - 6:30 am.
The overnight outage planned for September 17th is being postponed due to weather.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Carbon County that begins today, Monday, September 14 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Because of the red flag conditions, YVEA will be putting our system into Fire Protection Mode.
On August 29th, we had an outage that impacted the Hayden area, and as a result of this outage, we need to have an emergency overnight outage to repair and replace damaged equipment. This outage will begin at 11:59 pm on September 9th and will last until 5:00 am on September 10th.
RED FLAG WARNING: Carbon County The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Carbon County that begins today, Tuesday, September 8 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This means YVEA will be putting our system into Fire Protection Mode for the entirety of Red Flag Warning.
In observance of the holiday, YVEA offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We will reopen at 7 am on Tuesday, September 8th.
We need to perform emergency work on our transmission equipment on Wednesday, August 26th, from 11:59 PM - 3:00 AM. This outage will impact all members located in Baggs, Dixon, Slater, Savery, MCR 4, MCR 9N, N Hwy 13, MCR 2, MCR 2N, Baker’s Peak, and surrounding areas.
