The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Carbon County that begins today, Tuesday, August 11 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This means YVEA will be putting our system into Fire Protection Mode for the entirety of Red Flag Warning.

YVEA needs to do transmission work that will impact members who are served by our Clark Substation and a part of our Airport Substation. Members impacted by this outage have received calls and emails. Members on Airport substation will be off from 9:30 pm-6:00 am, and Clark will off 10:00 pm-6:00 am
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Carbon County. The Red Flag Warning is for Thursday, August 6 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. During that time period, YVEA will be placing our system into Fire Protection Mode.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Tuesday, August 4th from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Our system will be placed in Fire Protection Mode tomorrow for those counties. Because of the way our system has a transmission line that feeds Baggs, WY, Baggs will also be in FPM.
Please note that our lobbies will be closing at 11 am on Thursday, July 30th for team building and training. We will reopen for business at 7:00 am on Friday, July 31st. To pay your bill, please use our secure drop boxes, pay-by-phone option or through your SmartHub app.
The Red Flag warning has now been extended in Carbon County. We will remain in Fire Protection Mode until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 15th. Members may use their electricity as normal during this time and will only notice a service interruption if there is an actual outage.

The Red Flag Warning in Moffat County has now been extended to 8:00 pm today. On Tuesday, June 30th, Eagle, Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt Counties will be in a Red Flag Warning, meaning YVEA's entire system will be in Fire Protection Mode from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday.
Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday, 10 am until midnight Saturday. Members may use their energy as normal during this time and will not notice service interruptions unless there is an actual outage.
At the Annual Meeting, YVEA election results were announced and Sarah Jones was elected as the new director of District 6.
