A Red Flag Warning has been issued for our service territory for March 21st. We are assembling crews and will activate our system in Fire Protection Mode (FPM). When we are in this more sensitive mode, members may use their electricity as normal.

YVEA’s Board of Directors has approved a rate increase, effective April 15th, 2026, due to rising costs in our wholesale power, transmission, infrastructure investment, and overall business expenses.
In observation of the holiday, our offices will be closed on Monday, February 16th. We will reopen on Tuesday morning at 7:00 am.
Due to an employee event, our Craig office will be closed from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, and our Steamboat office will be closed from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
We are currently experiencing an internet outage, which means our phones are down. Our after hours service is answering calls, but we currently can't accept payments via pay-by-phone or in person payments.
Pay-by-phone and SmartHub are currently down and we cannot process payments in person. Our service provider is currently working to resolve this DNS issue on their side. If members need to pay their bills, they may use the drop boxes at the office and we will process payments as soon as we can.

Xcel has indicated gas prices could increase with incoming winter storms throughout the country. YVEA is recommending members conserve energy during this storm. Read more about YVEA's notice that was emailed to members.
1.21.25: We are currently experiencing phone issues where members calls aren't coming through, or calls are dropping. Members can send us an email at billing@yvea.com is they have billing questions, or pay their bills online at SmartHub or by using our office drop boxes.
